Default heating and air system

On my 92 civic hatch, when i turn on the fan for the heating and air controls, a lot of debris fly out of the vents and sometimes even parts of a leaf fly out!!!. This happens occasionally like probably few times a week when i turn on the fan. And no i dont get a lot of leaves and stuff on my car.I had a same exact car, a 92 hatch before and it didn't do this. Could anyone help me out to find the problem? Is there a filter that the heating and fan system has? How is the air routed from the outside to the system? Oh yea and my car doesen't have a/c if that has anything to do with it... Any help is appreciated.. thanks

sounds like you got a mouse or something in there that chewed up the filter... Might want to check it out.

Hahahahaha. Set aside a couple hours. :P It's not really hard, just time consuming.
