Default Springs and no Shocks?

This may sound retarded but since i'm low on cash, would it be stupid to install 1.5 inch lowering springs on stock shocks and struts? Anybody else doin that?

I have Neuespeed sport springs on mine which dropped me close to 1.75". I am on stock shocks and I haven't had any problems. Although my rear camber is pretty bad. I wouldn't stay on them for too long though since you will go through tire's like crazy.

i dropped my car over 3 inches and am still on the stock shocks. i know they're blown but i just haven't gotten new ones yet. i would suggest getting shocks and doing it all at the same time (that way you don't have to get an alignment twice).

it wont damage anything (other than your shocks), but you wont be getting much out of the springs in terms of handling... just the look, i guess.

If youre low on cash, why not save for a while and put both in at the same time... that way you'll only have to remove the strut assemblies once, and save yourself a lot of time and effort.
