I'll move this into the Civic forum.

I have a VTEC controller, too but don't know squat about how the adjustments. I left that to Elite when I went to get dyno tuned....

best advice i would give to someone who doesn't know how to adjust the settings on a V-AFC is to get it dyno tuned by a reputable shop. otherwise you might get something wrong and not get the full power from the controller

i to was tricked by the loudness of it... but i think that you set vtec too low... it SOUNDS faster but i bet its not.. i ended up setting vtec back up to around 5200... and that seems to be fine..
