Default b20 Yes?

I am not very aware of sols. I have a civic right now as we speak. A friend of mine is buying one and has a few questions. Its a 97 del sol S. If he were to do a swap what would be the best idea? He was thinkging of either a b20 b16 or even maybe an h22a. Would he need an obd1 or obd2 harness if he were to do the swap( I know its not a vtec so which harness would he need). He has about 3000 dollars for the swap after he bought the car. This can be a combo of just a simple engine like a b20 with internals and then later on maybe even a turbo. I know that it is a bitch to drop an h22a in a civic(beating on the firewall and what not) is it more difficult to drop one in a sol? I know that I'm asking a lot of questions but you guys are the best. Help me out as much as you can. Thanks

Swapping into a sol is the same as a civic. As far as needing a wiring harness, use the old d15 harness, and add the 3 wires for vtec. Not tough at all.
