tire size / brand for 15" c8's
I have a 96 civic and I am just getting my new wheels, and now I need a little help deciding between two tires.
here are my choices:
195/50R15 H Kumho ECSTA 711 for $174.53 shipped
or
195/50R15 H Kumho ECSTA Supra 712 for $263.51 shipped
I know there is probably a significant difference in quality between the two but what I wanna know is if you guys think it is worth it to spend the extra money on the supra 712's?
keep in mind I don't have much money to spend, and my car isn't fast so I don't need a ton of grip.
thanks:thumbup:

Since your wheels will be 15x6.5" I would recommend 205/50x15" instead of 195/50x15". You will get a wider footprint which means better cornering. And your speedo will only be off by a few mph instead of the 195/50x15" which will mess it up by more.

according to a tire size chart I was using, 195/50/15 is closest to my original size being only .03 inches taller than stock. 205/50/15 was .43 inches taller. I can get 205/50/15 for $200 shipped.
