Default 99 Civic sedan, what size wheel/tire combo?

I am wondering what size wheel and tire combination I should run for a 99 Civic EX sedan?

I want to run a set of 18s but I am unsure of the tire combination to run? Will a 225/40/18 tire size fit on a civic?

What would be a good close to stock tire setup for a set of 17s?

Ahh I love new cars!!

Thanks,

Nate.

search, been covered manymanymany times.

I don't foresee 225s fitting on a civic. the wrong offset rims and 205s rub pretty badly.

No, they don't. You can roll the fenders, but it looks :ghey: imo.
