Default vtec controller to control VVT-I???

i got a vtec controller i want to give my bro. to use in his IS300...anybody know if this will work as long as the proper harness is used? and please refrain from the "maybe, i think so, it should" comments even though i appreciate the thought. i need to know FOR SURE.. :thumbup:

i doubt it will work because... it will ONLY work if the parameters for "vtec" to engage on both motors are EXACTLY alike.. and i DOUBT that they are.. they would need to be EXACTLY the same.. i would not chance it.. ****ing with the ecu when you are not sure would probably be less than a great idea.

There is a possiblity. Im sure u can get it to switch over at a different time (on my car a VTEC controller can u used to control the secondary runners as well as the fuel curve) So it MAY work
