Default T-25 Turbo- basic questions

Hey, i've got a d16y7 motor, and i'm interested in making up a nice DIY T-25 turbo. but, i'm not really sure where to start. anyone do this, please post everything you can to help me out. first thing would be an estimate on what it might cost me. thanks

Itll cost you about $3500. Im not sure what website I saw it on, but it was the whole turbo kit.

not for a 'homemade' t25 kit

I don't know how many people can really piece together their own turbo setup.. I know that I personally wouldn't know where to start unless I did some intensive research. It's a bitch to piece together your own and takes time gettin it all setup without a kit with instructions. I'd say that unless you absolutely know what you're doing, keep goin with a kit. It'll be better to start off with and maybe help you learn for the future turbo setups you choose to run.

getting your own kit isnt hard. just look and see what other kits include and make sure you get those same type of parts. not too hard there.

Most expensive (and most important part) is gonna be the fuel management. You could go with the AFC hack which is about 350 and works relatively well. Jkan is running that I think.

If you piece it together I'd say about 1500 (thats about how much Im spending)
