How hard is a cam install on D16Z6

Default How hard is a cam install on D16Z6

I have never done one on Honda motor. Is it dificult to do or can it be done in a weekend. Also what cams do you guys recomend

gude.com makes a cam
i believe crane cams makes one too
i dont know if zex makes a cam for the sohc or just the dohc
just shop around, you'll find a good one.

A first-time swapper can easily do it in a day or less. Usually a lot less.

the hardest part about installing a cam on a z6 or y8 is just putting the lost motion assembly back on cause it keeps falling all over the place. but of course i reccomend crower stage 1 or 2 if you got the cash to upgrade the valvetrain. dont forget to get an adjustable cam gear also.

it can be done in an hour, but thats without goofing off which we all do when we work on our cars...lol

try searching on google or get a helms manual.
