Just wondering what my fellow HAN'ers have done with their EG audio consoles. (center console above the shifter).


I recently picked one up...but i'm missing an ashtray and one DIN. Just wondering what you guys have done or used to fill them up. I'm open to ideas. I got too many missing pieces in that area h: h:


(and no...i cant go get the missing pieces especially the ashtray...mine is JDM...and is on the wrong side. it will be super hard to find the piece h: h: )

You could put some gauges in there, if you need some gauges.

i've thought about it...but i have no need for any guages. h: my ideas were to cover the panels up. but i have no idea what materials to use. either plastic, fiberglass, or some kind of light wood. i do however need to put a few switches for the oem foglights and parking antennas ......

Do you have a vtec controller or afc? You could throw them in there.

i have future plans for one when i get the b series swapped in. i almost forgot about that...thanks!


now i just need to find a way to make a blank panel to cover up the ashtray hole. any ideas?

for the ashtray, go to a junkyard and look into the bakk rear passenger seats of a 87 lude, the side rear passenger ashtray is the same one used for the audio console, i know cuz my gf sister bf has a 87 lude and i pull the ashtray out and fit it on mines, perfect match.

for the console ideas, get the lower din a pocket out of the 6gen accord coupe, its a pocket and has a door lid. the top, keep it blank and add gauges, vafc, ect.

the ashtray...is it located on the right side? mine is reversed from the usdm astray h:


as for the console...i already have the pocket with the door lid ...the top is blank and awaiting the VAFC when i need it
