i am installing my cold air intake, and i have no idea what the water bypass hose is, or where the hell it is!!..the directions say i need to take it out and put the supplied one in, but i dont know why? can someone help me out here?

also, my breather tube is a bent in every direction...could cramp up....know what to do here?

if you can't put a CAI in and don't know what a bypass is don't hook up your car.........do you even have a bypass? Is your intake AEM? more info please.

yah its definitely AEM...everything is all set to go, except that i have an extra hose that the directions say attaches on the lower portion of the throttle body...theres no where to put it on the intake, so i dont even know why i should bother......(if there is already a hose there, why not leave it the f*%$ where it is)

p.s.--im not talking about an AEM bypass valve

oh hes talking about the little hose.
you should get a bypass valve. it would come in handy when you go through water.

the hose should go from the intake to the engine near vavle cover.....your OEM intake box should of had a hose that did same just replace with one that came with CAI.

the hose runs from the throttle body (or the fast idle thermal valve to either the intake manifold or the water outlet neck...why would i need to take one hose out to put the exact same hose back in? am i making any sense?
