what would you do?
im getting a trailer soon enough, but i cant decided which car i want to put the hitch on. either my hatch or the coupe.
if i put it on my car, i can go wherever i please to go riding, but, i dont like leaving my car anywhere offroad. or it can go on the coupe, but it might be a mission sometimes to get it, if my girl works, ill have to lend her my car :nervous: i dont mind, unless she parks it at the front of her workarea, where its less suited to get hit by a soccermoms SUV door...alot of SUVs go to her job. and we arent worried about her car, it needs to be repainted anyhow, and there is not a thing to be stolen off the car.

put it on her car. Your paint is too nice to risk it... plus its probably not wise to put too much stress on your high-milage turboed D by towing a trailer around.
lol... my buddy has a trailer hitch on his 89 Si...looks really stupid too.

I wouldn't put a hitch on either. If you need to tow stuff get a truck. Civic's weren't designed to tow things.

obviously if i had more money i would get a truck, but i have alot of finishing to do on my car and so on, and i have no where to put another car.

im pretty sure civics can tow ~1000lbs from the factory. the # is reduced ALOT once you lower. i remember readin the eibach documentation and it says that you should NEVER tow once youre lowered. i have gc coils, and i would never tow. i'd trust some normal springs tho. the trailer hitch should bolt into the frame, so you should be able to unbolt it any time
