turbo idle problem
I just installed my turbo and Crower stage 2 cam shaft and SRP pistons on my d16y8 and am having the following problems that I think can be solved by tunning with the peoples help from this board.
1) It seems like it is starving for gas when I try to start the car...... There is 2 additional 440cc fuel injectors on the pipe going to the throttle body that run off of a MF2 fuel map.
I think this might mean that I need a bigger fuel pump?
2) the car idles at 1,000-1,200 rmp but if I drive and take it out of gear it will idle at 2,500-3,000 rpm untill I rev it by hitting the gas then it will drop down to 1,200 rpm.
I have no clue on this one!!!!!!!!!!!!
Help me please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

well I got no replies so I just went out and played with the setup and I solved the idle problem. The vacuume lines to the wastgate were on wrong :slap:
Now I just need to get the boost controller to work.

A MF2 is running the 2 additional 440cc injetors in the intake pipe.

if you have to tap the gas to drop the idle, your timing is too high. and why are you using stage 2 with a turbo, you should have gotten the turbo grind.

The crower stage 2 camshaft is a turbo grind read bellow what the website said
Stage 2 - Designed specifically for turbo charged and supercharger applications. Features short duration and high lift. Requires springs and retainer kit
