Default got my short shifter

so igot my skunk2 shifter

thanx josh

any tips on short shifter install...shouldnt be hard at all im sure...jw if u guys had ne quick tips

He's right, put a bunch of silicone lube on the ball before putting it in the plastic tube type object (can't explain it, but you'll see it when you take the old one out). Also, think about a set of urethane bushings for it. I have the Skunk2 dual bend shifter and the Prothane bushing kit for it, and all I can say is damn... Everyone who's ever driven my car has told me how amazing the shifter feels.

Bushings are rubber or polyurethane peices that are placed in places of the car that require a bit of give. Stock bushings are rubber, which are very flexible and move a bit too much for most people's taste. Poly bushings are stiffer and give the part a firm feeling. Poly bushings also last alot longer than rubber.
