99 Hybrid Civic vs. 03 sentra spec-v
In case you guys don't already know. I have a b18c motor with LSD tranny in a 99 civic ex. Rota C8's with brand new kumho tires. OBD1 ecu, intake, and exhaust. A/C, cruise control, and power steering was removed. Also I can drive it
Anyhow a guy at my work drives a stock Nissan sentra v-spec. I don't know if he can drive, but I can tell you his reflex's aren't as fast being he's in his late 30's
Anyhow.. I was wondering what you think my chances are against him?

those sentras are not all that quick....any reviews of them I've ever read, I wasn't that impressed. If you've got a B18C and an LCD, I think should be able to take him without that much trouble. His engine has about 5 more HP than yours, but you're about 100lbs lighter

On two different tests, C&D got a 15.7 and a 15.6 respectively from the Spec V...thats not really impressive....those are the same times that they got from a stock GS-R, but considering that your car is a good deal lighter than a GS-R, and you have the JDM version of the GS-R motor, you should have this one easily.
you'd probably win. The V-spec definitely has some grunt, but all that torque doesn't really translate into speed... its got a rediculously low rev-limiter and wider gearing than yours.
