Default if my timing is too advanced...........

would the idle be erratic?

right now its hovering between 1000 and 1200rpm

ill tighten the adjusting screw and see if it'll stop...

unless theres an intake vacuum leak...

as far as i know.. timing will not effect idel... when did the high idle condition start??what year is your car.. adn why is your timing advanced??

"if your timing is too agresive" and you use shit fuel you will ping/detonate and that is not good for the car..

If you changed cams, certain aftermarket cams produce a rough idle. Gude's website talks about it a bit.
