I have been pretty incestant on looking for a H22 for it, and I found a few, but does anyone suggest anything else or have any bad things to say about the h22 or generally thinks its a bad idea? Anyway cya guys ^_^

Still here... sorta...
incestant? :eh: :nervous: :fawk:
He could get a better set of front springs couldn't he? :dunno:
I agree with the B18 boost swap, but you could always go for the K20 swap

it's my D in a B
H22 weighs 100-150lbs more than a B-series, which weighs between 50-100lbs more than a d-series, depending on motor and options. I'm sure it can be made to handle OK on the street, but definitely a no-go for autocross. Seems like an awful lot of weight to add to the front end of an already front-heavy car. The word "brick" comes to mind.

hard to say... generally, stiffening the front springs in comparison to the rears ads more understeer, which is not what you'd want. But for pretty understandable reasons, you'd want heavier spring rates to hold up the increased weight. I'd either talk to somebody with this setup, or figure it out via trial and error.
Also good to keep in mind that the H-series swap is much more difficult than B-series, and sometimes requires a BFH to rearange your subframe.

hey what's going on...I just finished reading all the posts for dropping the K into the older style civics. This is my question....I have a civic 00 Si....the b16a2 is great...but its starting to reach the 100k mark....i did do some mods onto it...but it was mainly an everyday driven car...Now i would like to make it into my project car, i plan on getting the xrs corolla as an everyday later on this year when it drops...What i would like to know is...would it be worth the investment on buying the hasport engine mounts for the K series to drop into my 00 Si and doing everything else that will make this engine work on my Si? Or should i go out and get another Bseries engine...I liked the Bseries, but K is the future....i'm looking to make a boat load of power and i feel with the K i'll be able to reach where it is that i'm aiming too....Also, could someone tell me if the K20(i'm hoping to land the TypeR, but TypeS is good too) will it be to heavy for my 00 Si. Thanks....
