im in the process of makin a obd2-obd1 harness and plan on test usin it in my boyz 00 civic ex with i/e, while runnin a skunk2 p28(5g ex/si) ecu.

i heard that the cel will turn on due to obd2's extra sensors. which sensors will i have to stimulate to get rid of the cel and how upon i go about doin that?

isnt the obd2 to 1 conversion a pain in the arse?


i dont know if katman posted the info on the site...but i remember him mentioning about it when he did up Dylan's ride.... or was it the other way around? (obd1 to obd2?)

 

It won't code out unless you were doing the opposite conversion. As long as you have all the OBDI sensors hooked up, you'll be fine. OBDII is the one with the extra sensors.
