Default If you have money to throw away and want handling.

You gotta tried shaved tires I got my Falken Azenis from my sponsor and had them shaved last week. Mounted them on my competition rims and headed out to the autocross today (Sunday).

WOW! Talk about LOTS of cornering power compared to my frsh set of Azenis in the same size

Cost $100 to shave them. The car definite handles better, without the tread squirm and now the tires don't heat up as bad which means less greasyness feeling at the limit on a hot day.

No. Isn't it shaving pieces off the sides to balance and to remove weight?

I've heard the term, but don't know exactly what it is.

stuff man.

No, they actually shave off tread down to a specific depth.

So the tire wears out faster? I'm too poor for that.

Besides, my fronts are already almost out of tread. I wonder if that's helping my handling:exnbp:
