i think it would only benefit in drag racing where you dont down shift, or track racing when you constantly shift and miss shifting can cost you the race. But for daily driving, it won't help much
Oh. I just checked that link. That's a rachet shifter. They use those in racing. There's still a clutch though. It just eliminates the h pattern to save shifting time. The sequential tranny though. That's where it's at.
