Default Q on Suspension: How to reduce bounciness?

Have Skunk 2 & Koni Reds on my 99 Hatch for about a year now and been very satisfied with such a combination. The handling is superb and precise with almost no body roll at all. The steering response is close to perfect with easy point-and-go, and I am riding only on 195/55/15! I also have Neuspeed front-tower bar and rear-lower tie bar and can really feel the tightness of chassis during hard conering and on uneven-surface roads. The ride is quite comfortable and not too harsh at all.

However, one thing that bothers me the most is the bounciness of the ride. It doesn't happen on smooth or uneven-surface roads, but it could get really bad on large bumpy or wavy (ups and downs) or sudden-drop or sudden-rise surface roads. My ride is not slammed or too low at all.

I always wonder what causes the bounciness. My thinking is that it's due to adjustable springs like Skunk 2 and GC which have really short springs vs. longer springs such as stock or Eibach Pro-Kit and therefore very short spring travel? The other reason could be due to much higher spring rate for such a light car as my CX? What do you guys think?

If I increase the shocks' damping rate (make them stiffer), would that solve the problem or it'll continue not only bouncy but also increased ride stiffness and bumpiness (and bounciness)?

stock springs or different shocks :dunno:. What your talking about is normal.
