ok when i bought the car, the foolish previous owner painted the interior plastic pieces.. the parts that go around the window button and handle, and also the cup-shaped piece next to the radio.

well i dunno what the hell kind of paint he used, becuz these pieces have been bathing in paint thinner for 2 days and the paint still doesn't come off easily.

honda wants to charge me $70+ for this stuff, that's way too much. what should i dO?

anybody know any junkyards that'll have ek's around the bay area?

 

i had the same thing in my hatch. both of the door panels had the painted controls, dash vents, arm rest, piece that goes around the shift boot and the shift boot itself, and the gauge cluster bezel. i just bought the parts from a junkyard. i paid 20 bucks for everything.
