Damn STICKERS
i got a 95 civic ex coupe and that hideous "Civic EX" sticker on the back of my car. i tried to take it off today with a hairdyrer, but as i took like 2mm off, i realized taht it was leaving an outline of the sticker. so i stopped, but was left with the corner of my EX peeling off. i just hope it doesnt peel off anymore. Anyone ever attempt this and succeed without an outline?

I used hairdryer, finger nails and Bug & Tar remover. Also nail polish remover works too just remember to rewax the area.

be careful with nail polish remover and stuff that abrehsive. on the back of my accord theres a huge hole in the paint cause of a tiny speck I decided to bare down on rewetting every couple of seconds for a couple of minutes.
I recommend denatured alcohol. it works awesome. also because your car is 7 years old and due to sun fadding there will be like a ghost image of the badge left over. don't worry about it just buff like mentioned above. after a few waxes and as time goes by it should fade.

Bug and tar remover. Just put a reasonable amoutn on the sticker, wait a minute or two, and try and peel a corner up. It may be slow to start and you may need alittle more bug and tar remover, but it will work. Then just use some to get the sticky residue off and wash it clean.

hairdryer... and patience.
after that, i took off the outline residue with Meguire's Step One Cleaner.
simple.

hmm, so all you had that outline to begin with? so my options after taking the sticker off are:
1. Goo gone
2. Meguiar's step one cleaner
Is goo gone safe to use on car paint?
