Accord engine in a Del Sol
How hard would it be to put any of the 2.0 or 2.2 4 cylinder accord engines into a 93 Sol. My buddy wants more from the del sol and he's used to torquey engines. Everybody wants to much money for a prelude engine I figured the accord engine might do good.

H22's are expensive. Accord engines are dirt cheap. Don't they use the same mounts? I thought an H22 swap into an accord was a direct replacement. So if that's the case an F series would just need different mounts and axles to fit in the del sol?

the problem with h22's is the axles. The tranny is never aligned correctly, and people break axles left and right. The F would have the exact same problem, and you wouldn't even get power that would make it worth it.

The only H22 guy I know here in MD, who has since graduated from college, swapped an H22 into his Del Sol S... and broke like 10 axles over a year and a half. He hated that engine so much, he swapped a D16Z6 in instead, and sold the H22. Don't do it.
