Default Dont know what to do!

Well i called the guys in arizona that were going to rebuild my turbo, and they said that my turbo is just thrashed. The only thing they would use is the housings. I knew it needed to be rebuilt, but i didnt know it would be this bad. They said it would cost around $450-$500 to rebuild it because of all the new parts. Im extremely pissed that i have to wait even longer now to drive my car boosted.

Im having them send it back to me because theres a shop a couple hours away that will do the same rebuild for a little less and is close.

- should i keep the Greddy turbo i have now and pay the 400 to get it rebuilt?

- should i buy the same Greddy turbo for about 250 and put it on my car?

-Or should i buy a different kind of turbo and get an adapter plate for my manifold?

Thanks in advance.

get a different turbo, something ball bearing like apexi...what crucial and jkan have, those make crazy torque and most people say that the greddy is junk

with the apex kit, arent those water/oil cooled? How hard would it be to fit a turbo like that to my greddy manifold?
