I found out today that there is a diff. synchronizer for each gear and each has bearing and a transmission shop thinks because it 5th gear it might be a locked barring............has any one herd of this.

They're most all geared differently. The VTEC trannys are geared to keep you in VTEC when you're getting on it. The NON-VTEC motors drop you down lower because there is no VTEC to keep you in.

Others are geared more for fuel efficiency while the others are geared more for power (even though there isn't much there anyway)

i know i will be able to dirive it forever like this but the reason i got the car was to enjoy driving and the grinding sucks all the fun out of it i am supprised not many people have problems with his my car must have just been driven hard ?
