When I did my springs, I got a compressor from autozone, and it was one that only compressed one side. It worked, but it would have been nicer to have one that compresses both sides.

Thanks for all the input...I did rent a spring compressor, and a friend of mine and I got the springs installed today with pretty much no problems. So far the ride is great, with no rubbing or anything, and it brought my fenders right down to the tires...I'm not sure if they'll settle any more than that, but I'm really happy with the results. How much can I expect them to settle, if at all?

Mine haven't at all. As long as they're resting in the ... perches?... they should be fine. As far as I know.

Interesting thing is, my car in the picture hasn't been lowered yet. Weird.

a spring compressor isnt a must have. skelly_gsr and i just used some weights, put body weight on them, and used bricks as a base. the jolt was pretty weak actually.

Yeah I knew that, I just felt safer using a compressor. It was free to use anyway, so I thought I might as well.
