Default d16y8

hi, i have a 98 civic ex coupe d16y8, is it ok to sometimes pull it to redline around 7000rpm. and when i step on the gas, there are smokes coming out of my exhast, but not black tho either or white. and my car is warmed up already and the outside temp is around +16degrees. is this normal.

thx

Usually if it's burning oil it's more black. But I'm not sure. I would have to see it to tell you what I think.

when oil burns its a white smoke but when its coming out when you redline, im just guessing, is because the rings and cant seal that well at high rpms
