Default New Car Time...

Ok, my current sol has been through a lot, many track days and a few goes up the drag strip, and is in the need of a bit of work, the gearbox is pissing out fluid, 2nd and 3rd synchro's are crunching, 1st gear makes a funny noise, the car idles like a pig, smokes when i floor it, bodywork needs a bit of a look, need a new front caliper and 2 discs and almost all of my bushes need replaced for the MOT (shitty test u gotta do here every year in the uk), so its time to change, and thats where i need your guys help.

I have about ten grand to spend on a new car, and i have narrowed my choices down to a '99 UKDM Civic VTi Jordan (Special Edition), it has B16A2, EK9 front and rear lips and side skirts, black and yellow leather interior, and only comes in 3 door hatch bright yellow, heres a pic:

OR.... I could get a newer (95+) UKDM CR-X delSol VTi, has B16A2, sway bars, vtec performance bar, and Electric roof

help me guys, i love the del sol but the civic jordan is a tempting offer, only 500 were ever made.

I'd get the Civic if I were given that choice. Having one of only 500 would be sweet

I'd would get the Civic too, looks pretty clean and it could be a collector car someday. More room equals more space. I like my del sol but sometimes the spacing that i need bugs me.

The transatop is sweet to show people, and would be handy, but who wants to add that much weight to an already heavy car?

I'd get the hatch. Lighter than a sol with the transatop, same engine, tighter chassis, more aftermarket support...
Unless you're in love with sols, they aren't worth it... Too bad I'm in love....

That bumble bee paint is quickly steering me away from the Civic. I'd say go with the del Sol.

I agree, I hate yellow except for on the ITR. That Civic looks like someone did it themselves, not the factory. Although it probably looks good in person, I don't know.

Get the sol. I'd kill for a transtop.
