Well, I was pulled over today by the PoPo for my exhaust being too loud. He said it can't be any louder than it is when it rolls of the assembly line.
i thought it can't be louder than 85decibels......:dunno:......and that is dick he impounded........you can challenge it in court, if popo don't show or you win it is dismissed

Chances are your laws similar to NYs regarding exhaust.....any exhaust that is not OEM or a direct OEM replacement is technically illegal

I'm hearing:
RSr ExMag
Greddy SP

Do either of these exhaust get loud as the RPM's go up? I want something you can hear, but it needs to be a "quiet loud" if that makes since.

Thanks for everyone so far

I want an RS*R! but too expensive for me. I'm thinkin you should get an apexi WS just cus of the price, like $400, but if you got the cash (which I dont) i'd also get the rs*r.. but apexi will work for me

whats the pipe diameter on and RS-R? also, what the diameter and length of the tip? Does it have a sporty exhaust note or is it just downright quiet and unnoticable?

The EXMAG series which I have has a 2.5 diameter pipe size. The tip diameter is about 3.5-4 inches.

The exhaust note is a very nice subtle "humm" at idle and a very pleasing sound at WOT. Not throaty...but not raspy either.
