Default es bushing problem

I just installed a short shifter into my car. I bought some es bushings with it since everyone says bushings make the ss. I installed the one that connects to the floor pan. But i do not know what to do with the other two round ones. They cant connect to my shifter because the linkage from shifter to tranny where it connects is not big enough to support them. where do these 2 round discs go? also there was a gold tube that i use too any help would be good thanks

did you get the right kit for your car? The rear one you already installed is pretty universal to civics/integras, but the front ones that you can't figure out have to be right for your car. If they don't fit, you may have the wrong ones.

If you have a swap, you need to get the bushing kit for your engine, not your car since you usually have to swap out the shift linkage.

the bseries kit has 2 pieces, one that goes near the shifter, and the main round one at the tranny.

the dseries has 3 pieces, one at the shifter, and the two discs goes at the tranny.

if u have a bseries motor, ur screwed wit the current kit ur got, well half of it, if its dseries, its pretty self explanatory in that picture.

Thanks that picture helps me , but the bushings i got are much wider than that. Should they be like that? and when i tighten the bolt on the tranny it will close it up?

post a pic of what you have. What kit did you get and what car do you have... you need to help us help you by providing information about the kit and your car.
