Default GSR cluster in 5th gen

I found this: https://www.honda-acura.net/forums/s...856#post993856

But, the link on the page goes to a DIY on a 6th gen. Anyone done this or have a link to it? I thought there was one out on Appearance here, but can't find it (did a search).

I wanna go with the GSR cluster cause I don't want to have to deal with the KPH on the JDM clusters nor do I like the white faces.

Gimme some info!

Thanks!

i heard it looks kind weird cause the gauges at the bottom are like half cutoff, because of fitment issues!

if you wanna be orginal just swap the whole GSR dash in! thats what i wanna do soon!

Here is a Type-R cluster in a 6th gen, I know it's not exactly what you were looking for, but you can see how it fits.

flappy: Manincamo tried doing that also...he was unsuccesful

I know that it looks odd in the 6th gen, but I wanna know about the 5th. The pic that flipped posted is ok, but the cluster isn't mounted so it's hard to get a final picture out of it.

Anyone thought about putting a 1st Gen GSR cluster in? (I think that gen is right...) It looks more squared than the 2nd gens.. Just a thought.

yeah, i just threw that in because we wanted to see it. i didn't really try to make it fit like i would if i were actually mounting it in there. i'm sure you could get it to fit a lot better than i did with a little modification.

I'll try and find the thread on this from Honda-Tech. Some guy there had the cluster moded to fit the EG. The only thing was that he utilized the same clear plastic and the hole to reset the speedometer was off. He had to drill another hole. I'll see if I can find it.

Found 1 Page 2 has the pix
