Default radio to the bottom din gauges up top..

this has been covered partialy a couple times but can anyone tell me if i can move the radio south and put 3 gauges up top??thanks.. pics would help

yea its possible,..i did this exact thing in my b20 hatch,...3 gauges in the upper radio din,..and my CD/MP3 player in the lower din,..i will have my girl take pictures because she has the car in iowa at the moment

that looks good.. too bad its 99-00 i have a 96-98

and the issue is i want to move the STOCK radio to the bottom.. will that fit??? or no.. it seems as if it is shaped slightly odd on one side..

stock i have a 6 disk cd changer.. and my interest in stereo equipment is nill.. so id like to keep the stock shit..

this is the local shops demo ride, they have the radio down where the stock cd player would go and the guages up top

the stock head unit is oddly shaped and you wont be able to move it to the bottom, u need an aftermarket stereo... goto best buy and tell them you need a cd player with changer controls and the wire harness for the stock changer, you can control stock changers with a aftermarket head unit...

with enough money, anything is possible but its just better off buying a new head unit then if u ever want to add amps and subs you have the RCAs you will need...

ever see my interior...... you will NEVER see an amp or "sub" in my car ever.. lol




thanks for the info... what you posted was EXACTLY what i was looking to do.. but now im thinking i MAY fabricate something with the vent...

just buy a stock stereo off ebay...or 99-00 climate control. it may not be free but it'll only cost $50 max.
