Default 96 front

Hey whats up all I have a 92 Civic hatch and I want to do a 96 front end with si lip.

I was wondering how hard it would be to do that. I assume that I wll need the hood, fenders and front. But what I want to know is will I have to do any bonding or anything like that or is a direct swap???

Well if you can help me out that would be great thanks.

dont do it, it wouldnt look right. if you do tho, youll need a 99-00 front end to use the si lip, the 96-98s are different. spend your money on something for the engine

I have a 98 GSR in it now, and all the bolt ons and alson some slite internal mods. I really want to keep it preatty stock but I don't care for the 92 front end so if anyone has any insight on another conversion or a kit that looks good and now to BIg and Flashy then let me know.

I am really looking for a clean look thanks

do it. if it's done right the job can look real real clean and i've seen it done on several cars and it looks good. some people say it's ricey but thats their opinion. If you do the conversion though, get a 99-00 front end conversion cuz it looks a lot better. I believe Si lips dont fit on the 96-98 front ends without some modifications.

run a search,..i explained it awhile back because i did this to my old 92 CX,...there is welding involved,...you have to take the back half of your stock fenders and weld them onto the front front half of the new fenders,...yea thats right,..you have to cut allllllllllll the fenders in half,...oh and welding is also required for the radiator suport

not necessarily. you can chop the bottoms and backs of the 96-00 fenders to make them fit...don't have to weld.

I think the conversion is damn clean. watch around for someone doing a 96-98 to 99-00 conversion and buy their pieces for half of what they pay.
