will you get more HP out of a turbo charger or a supercharger? and what would be the best engine to swap into a Sol?

 

turbo gives you more power. as for the engine, i say b18c1

turbo gives you more HP for sure.......super gives better throttle response......there are downfalls to both, most superchargers dont offer the ability to mount an intercooler..............my vote:B20 w/ JRSC

it depends on what you are looking for but you have to remember that superchargers = no adjustabilty unless you change the pully and they are parasitic...we have built alot of booth..b16 for example supercharged running 13.6 1/4 miles turbos breakin the 12 sec mark...superchargers are fun as hell on the street though instant torque

 

superchargers arent as efficient as turbos, but supers dont lag... BOV owns j00

Wait, u say the super is parasitic...Doesn't the turbo restrict exhaust?
