Default Civic vs. Prelude

A New Racer
I want to buy either a 92-94 Civic Coupe or 94-95 Prelude. Bur I don't know which one I want. I need some help deciding. What kinds of conversions I can get? What kind of motors? Which is lighter? How far I can take that car? Basic questions. And if anyone knows of a research website please let me know. (I do know some stuff about cars, just not a lot about imports, more or less older monsterous Chevy Camaro's. Ketcha later.

Civic Main reason being its weight. Much lighter than the lude. Not to mention many options with the b-series engines which can easily(cough) swapped in....

H22's are good for the heavier cars like the Prelude and the Accord. B18C's are better for the Civics and Integras...

This argument can get beaten to death and has...which is faster a Prelude SH or an Integra GSR? If you can answer which came first, the chicken or the egg, then you can answer which is faster.

To get back on topic I would say get the Civic...after seeing the difference in Matt's car with the B18C swap (and he still does not have VTEC yet) he now has a good base to mod...

yeah but here its prelude VS civic

no doubt which one is faster.

you can find more mods for a civic, but a prelude is not nearly as common, plus its so purty

I think everyone forgot what you were saying. Because the Prelude has an H22, you are leaning on the side of Preludes. Not that I should put an H22 in a Civic. Quite difficult, being that it wouldn't just bolt right in. I know what you are saying. Anymore insight would be appreciated. I am also a girl. Formerly known as the Focus Chick.
