Default Manifold install

Has anyone here insalled a d16y8(ex) intake manifold/throttle body on a d16y7(dx/lx)??

I just got it, and I am going to install it this weekend, hopefully everything should match up. Anyone did this install before?

Any parts store SHOULD carry those gaskets. You can go to the dealer, but they're just gaskets. Nothing too major.

Would the D16y8 manifold be better for a D16z6 than its original?
What about a B18C manifold, would it fit?

DSC thanks for the link, that was exactly what I needed! Wilsel, I believe that the d16y8 intake mani is a tadd better than the d16z6, but I would keep the one that you have. And no a b18c mani would not fit becuase in intake holes are slightly larger on b series engines, so they would not match the head. Thanks everyone, i'll let you know how everything goes.

From what I've been told, you can mix and match parts from the same series (IE. a B16 head with a B18 block and a B18 intake manifold) but not from different series. You could even match a B16 head up to a honda CRV block.... mass torque, hi-revving... craziness... but any of the D series parts should match up for ya.
