Three months ago, I got a 100 mph in a 65 mph zone speeding ticket. Two weeks ago, I got a 95 mph in a 70 mph zone one. I am still waiting to hear from the court about the first ticket. For the second ticket, I am going to do Deferred Adjudication. I have to pay 305 dollars (50 dollars for the deferred fee plus a 255-dollar fine) and cannot get any moving violation anywhere in the state of Texas for 30 days. After the 30 days, if I did not violate my probation, the ticket will be dismissed, and I can speed again.

I'm almost to embarrased to admite this stupid mistake. I got you beat on your ticket. I got a ticket recently for going 76 in a 35 zone, luckily for me the cop was nice enough not to take me in that night or impound my car (according to my friends at work, they were surprised he didn't take me in that night.) To sum it up, court results were that since i've had a clean record for 11 years, but since the speed difference, i couldn't for a No-Low(no points-you get one shot using this every 6 years), no option for defensive drivers class (normally you can do this to pay a slightly smaller fine, and will not be put on your record) BUT rather is was made mandantory still as well as fine. And $750 dollars for the fine. Yeah, that was stupid, I know. It was the weekend, just left with a buddy (same car) and on the way to my brother's bar, i guess got an adrenaline rush on the way. I thought the 6 lane road front of the mall was like 45-50. Sure i was still speeding, but it wouldn't have looked as bad. I'll never do that again though. (Private side roads only maybe-heh) 34 years, and still acting stupid from time to time. To much energy in me i guess.
I'm gone for a month, come back and I see threads going waaaaaaaay off topic? geez
The post about the ticket is ok... but not this ' PEANUT BUTTER JELLY TIME!' stuff. thats too off topic. keep is to real conversation.
