Pull the code and see whats wrong. Then fix the problem.

all you need is some electric tape.

take off about an inch of tape, and put it on your gauge cluster, covering up the light

or go to the dealership

I read your other post. For certain things like Code 71-74 (Misfires on cylinders 1-4), or code 41 (Oxygen heater sensor, bad O2 sensor) you CANNOT reset the ECU to get rid of the codes. The light will stay on regardless for certain codes. Either replace the defective ECU, or fix what's wrong. The primary O2 sensor for Code 41 is the sensor on the exhaust manifold or header. Was it replaced? If so, was it the correct one? Did it have the plug with the O2 sensor, or were all four wires correctly spliced (if it was generic one)? For the misfires, other people already told you (in your previous thread) what can cause that. For now I'd say take it in to have it checked. Again, at this point, don't bother trying to get rid of the light. Worry about getting the problem resolved.
