...and probably a dumb one too, but just thought that id double check...to install my skunk2 coilovers, i wont need a spring compressor?...or will i?

i didnt use one! we just layed the strut/spring down on the ground and stood on the spring and un bolted it!
you should use one tho, for safty reasons! but if you dont give a shit do it the way i did!:thumbup:

i used one just in case h: it's free why wouldn't you want to use one :dunno:

for my h&r sport springs i didnt have to use the spring compressor to put them back on the shocks cuz they were short enough just to put the cap and screw it on

ya you dont need one, some people are just pussies and are afraid to break a nail saying you need one. not on a civic. just make sure its not aiming at your nuts or anything, my friend did that. it was funny as hell, its a good thing he was still wearing his cup..lol

hahaha, thanks...put them on last night without a compressor...dont know what the big deal was, i was almost disappointed by how easily they shot off...oh yeah, my nuts are still in tact too
