Default is this possible.

i'm about to get a 99 CTR srs steering wheel. is it okay to not connect any of the wires so the airbag wont pop open? will there any problems with this like lights that might show up?

airbags are killing machines.

ehhh if i had an airbag,..i would plug it in,...airbag saves lives,...they may hurt but they save lives,...but yes you will have the SRS light on,..and the only way to turn it off is to plug in the airbag and reset it,..or you can just take out the bulb behind the light

I totaled my old Impreza and the airbag saved my life. It just felt like someone slapped me in the face really hard. A slap was much better than facial/dental surgery or death.

i dont understand the purpose of disabling the airbag. I doubt anyone will talk sh!t on your ride cause you have a functional airbag... and if they do talk sh!t, well... they are :ghey:

I had a buddy that researched this. I was asking him about his aftermarket steering wheel and if he was worried about not having an airbag. He said that he found that just as many people were killed when a airbag was in use, and when one was not.

Interesting...I think that they do prevent some injury though. Also, if you're paying for the airbag, you may as well use the damn thing .
