thnx for the advice peeps...but who would want a d15 engine ?? I mean it's been packed with so many miles...i was thinking of finding a civic shell idea and pop the d15 in it, that way i'll have a spare car...hehe...that's pretty smart, but what about insurance ?? I gotta pay for 2 car ?? hehe..personally i don't think it cost that much more than what i'm paying.

Well, if i do choose to go with the swap my friend's brother will charge me $500 for the engine swap and another $500 for the auto to manual trans for a total of a Grand in labor cost. The engine I'm looking to pop in is a b16a2 (complete). It range from $2200-$2600. He's getting the engine for me as well, at www.inlinefour.com He's works there but the actual swap being done is at his house, in the garage. Do you guys think this is a good deal, bad deal, or just the average deal.

so what's the longest running engine for volvo ?? and i wouldn't know if it blow a lot smoke when i pass by cause i'm always in the car. I doubt it though cause i did pass that smog test...
