Automatics were for the S and Si models. The VTEC model only comes in manual.

93 S and Si Models only
94-97 S, Si, and VTEC models.

93 S model d15 non-VTEC engine 102hp
93 Si Model d16 SOHC VTEC engine 125hp

94 S model d15 non-VTEC engine 102hp
94 Si Model d16 SOHC VTEC engine 125hp
94 VTEC model b16a3 DOHC VTEC engine 160hp

95 S model d15 non-VTEC engine 102hp
95 Si Model d16 SOHC VTEC engine 125hp
95 VTEC model b16a3 DOHC VTEC engine 160hp

96 S model d16 non-VTEC engine 106hp
96 Si Model d16 SOHC VTEC engine 127hp
96 VTEC model b16a2 DOHC VTEC engine 160hp

97 S model d16 non-VTEC engine 106hp
97 Si Model d16 SOHC VTEC engine 127hp
97 VTEC model b16a2 DOHC VTEC engine 160hp

People tend to confuse the model name for the sol "VTEC" with the engine type. SOHC VTEC or DOHC VTEC.

Don't get an Auto!!! After you post here for a while, we'll make you regret getting the auto . You'll also regret NOT getting the VTEC model. I kinda do, but they didn't come in blue, so I win that way.

That said, look under the car for a rear anti-sway bar. VTEC models are only 94-97. Look under the hood for a strut tower bar. Look under the front for a VTEC Performace Bar. 93-95 Si's have the fat five spoke alluminum wheels with satin finish. 94-95 VTEC models have the painted silver, thin, 5 spoke wheels with polished lip. 96 and 97 Si's AND VTEC's both have the thin spoke wheel that the 94-95 VTEC's have and also the VTEC suspension with rear swaybar etc. VTEC models have bigger brakes than the Si.

Redline on 94-95 = 8250. 96-97 = 8000

Sorry to correct you, but the "fat spoke" wheels were actually on the 93 Si's and the 94 Si's and VTEC's, and were discontinued at the end of the 94 model year. The "thin spoke" wheels replaced them and were on nearly all of the 95-97 Si's and VTEC's, as long as optional rims were not opted for in their place. The S's always had the steelies and wheel covers; again, as long as optional rims were not opted for in their place. Put simply, the Si's have always shared wheel types with the VTEC's...the fat spokes in 93 (minus the VTEC) and 94, and the thin spokes from 95 to 97.

Quite true, but a lot of people will put the original rims back on the car when they sell it, so they can get a better price on their aftermarket rims...
