swap info needed
i have a 97 civic dx hb. my car has 71,000 miles on it i need more power,can any 1 tell me what motor or motors are a direct replacement with the most horsepower? i found a salvage yard with nothing but hondas and acuras...and the guys there are rediculously cheap....please help....

b16a or b18c1 or h22a, any of the b-series are direct bolt-ins with little or no modification but the h22 would require new motor mounts you can get from www.hasport.com and a lot of work to shoehorn it in then you got the problem of extra weight in the front with the h22, so if you just want more power with little or no mods go with the b18c1. BTW is yours auto or manual? if its auto then you have to convert to manual and get the pedal set, clutch master cylinder.
