Both hatch and coupe pics look like toy models to me.

 

I remember seeing pictures in a Japanese magazine back in 1996 of a Type R Coupe. I can't remember which magazine it was (Option maybe?). It was a prototype built by Honda that never made it to production, they decided the hatchback would sell better in Japan and people who like coupes would settle for the Honda Integra Type R. No use having two Type R coupes.

But the picture posted above looks fake as hell since the Civic Type R Coupe I remember seeing was silver with black trim with the usual red highlighted interior.
