Too Much CF?
i think what you listed would be the limit. the most i want to do on my car is the hood and lip. but on a hatch, i'd do the hood and duckbill and that's about it. fenders and trunk get a  from me, unless it looks nice. maybe the hatch on a hatch, but i've only seen 1 or 2 that look decent with that.
Virtually every time I ride in HatchVX's car he scapes his CF Spoon lip on something. I'd give it about another 6 months before it is completely destroyed.
Not to mention when he had his tint put on, the guy pulled his CF duckbill and overtightened the mounting bolts when he reattached it. Now it has two obvious popups, one on each side.
CF is a neat thing, just not very practical for a street car.

i want my cars front end sitting 1" above the pavement all the time. i didn't buy a carbon fiber lip cause i couldn't repair it myself.
fiberglass was a better option, and i got a more aggressive front lip like i wanted.
most importantly everyone civic owner and their motor are buying carbon fiber lips spoilers and what not. so i fiberglass and costs me $10 in supplies to fix.

dont b going too much cf when the cf cost more than what ur cars worth...
and btw...that e36 isnt all cf..
the guy had it made most covered by cf...but definitely not the whole car..
i love the rear panels though
as for the front lip make a scrape guard as i like to call it. my friends use diamond plate steel and trace the bottom of the lip and either rivet it on or screw it on but riveting is better.
Yup. My CF lip is taking a beating from daily driving. Being 4" off the ground is not practical...
Another tip is to buy the "side molding" tape, that 3M makes. It's a thick black strip of rubber with double side tape on it. I use it under my lip and it saved me a few times.
