How hard is it to convert my 5th gen front end to a 6th gen......I want CTR headlights
.......my friend did it to his hatch.....it looks good.....i know you need hood, fenders, bumper, and headlights..........but how much and how difficult is it?

u gonnna need to weld front half 6gen fender to the other half of the 5gen fender.
also the hood, front bumper, lights and possibly a radiator support. imo it looks like ass. doesnt flow well wit the lines of the 5gen design, but i have seen it done, and for effort and creativity, its very well done.

i'd say it is a 5 on the hard scale. out of ten. if u have no experience.
you need the 6th gen civic radiator support.
here is what you do.
take off the stock radiator support. i believe there are a couple bolts on the top and it is welded in a couple spots on the bottom so you might have to cut.... Now you gotta match up the 6th gen radiator support to the holes where the 5th gen radiator support normall went and weld there, and then weld at the bottom.
now put on the hood and headlights,
now you cut the back of the 5th gen fender in half, and you get the 6th gen fenders front half and weld them together. and bondo it. or there is an easier way. you smash up the front part of the 5th gen fender. and they sell these staple type thingys that are real strong and you can stable the front half of the 6th gen fender onto the 5th gen fender and just bondo over the huge holes n shit. (i find this way to be more clean looking and easy)
MAKE SURE YOU DID EVERYTHING REAL GOOD SO IT MATCHES UP NICE.
now you can put on the front bumper.
sounds easier then it is but its not hard either. i know a couple people that have done the conversions themselves and a friend with no prior experience with cars and body work. and no experience in welding. ABSOLUTELY NONE. and their shit turned out kinda crummy at first, but eventually they worked on it little by little and it turned out PERFECT. both on a 5th gen hatch.
if you do it right, and can sand real good you can make the conversion look flawless and the lines on the fenders will match up perfect.

This is the dumbest ****ing post I have ever read. You my friend are a ****ing retard. You rank right up there with the elantra I saw with a 6th gen front end and that's it. Get a 6th gen drater.
