Default Need help picking a Turbo...

Picking up my Greddy turbo kit tomorrow. Im buying it from a local guy for $1000. The kit comes with Manifold, Blue box, injectors, downpipe, charge pipes, Type 31 intercooler, Blitz BOV, all oil lines and hardware, and a few gauges. Only thing thats wrong is the Greddy Turbo that came with the kit is ruined. Aparently he let his friend drive his car for some time and his friend didnt realize that there was no oil in the car, pretty weak ass story. So now the bearings and everything is toast. Everything is in good shape besides that.

-Is this a good price for everything im getting?

-Is it possible to rebuild the Greddy Turbo? I called Turbonetics, and the guy there said that you cant rebuild that turbo....

-What turbo should i get now?

PS. d16z6 motor is what its going on.

Majestic turbo in Waco, Texas can rebuild it. Or just get a turbo in good shape of of a DSM. But I can't why the turbo could not be rebuilt. What shape is his motor in?

Greddy uses Mitsu turbos, which means replacements are diverse and cheap.
