18 inch on civic
My friend want to have 18" in this 2000 civic. He wants to use a lowering spring not coilovers. If we lowered the car to 1.25 inch.it will rub or not. Thanks

A 2000 Civic might be able to handle 18's better than previous generations Civics. Probably due to the bigger wheel wells. Rubbing would depend on what kind of offset that the wheels have. Anything between +42mm to +45mm should be okay. I'd seriously advise him on getting coilovers.

roll the fenders in the back so when it bounce it would not rub or cut the tire then in the front some of the black factory plastic has to be cut out because it is going to rub when you turn the wheel
this is if you go with 18's withcoilovers i had a 96 civic hatch with vis racing coilovers tickico shocks 18" focal f10 215-35-18 yokahoma parada

they looked badass...but they rubbed like a bitch!
that plastic covering in my wheelwell is pretty much gone!
