Default new rims..

Getting ready to buy rims for my 2002 Honda Civic. My main concerns are rubbing and the space between the wheel well. Also will the springs help with the rubbing issues. I have never purchased rims and wanted to ask around before doing my purchase.

Thanks
Rob

Depends on how low you want to drop the car and how big of rims you want

I was thinking of going with 17's. Im not sure about the dropping I wasn't even thinking about that. When I put the rims won't it look dropped since its bigger rims? Are the springs a main factor?

Actually when you put bigger rims, the sidewall of the tire gets smaller and the car looks raised actually.

Rubbing will be a combination of how low you go and the size of your tires - I'd say more dependant on the amount of the drop.
